====== LL / LLX differences ====== LLX is an advanced version of LL (discontinued), with even more features and customization options. * **Advanced app drawer**: different views: by name, recently updated, running, frequently launched, custom view with support for folders. The LLX app drawer also has support for quick app search. * **Management of desktops**: LL supports 5 fixed desktops, LLX supports up to 100 desktops, with ability to add, remove, re-order desktops, and set the home desktop. * **Lock screen**: LLX can display one of your desktop as a lockscreen replacement. This means that all the power and flexibility of LLX is directly available to create the best lockscreen ever. * **Dynamic text for unread sms, gmail and missed phone calls**: these lightweight items will bring customized notification texts to your desktop. * **Scripting**: it brings customization to a never reached level. Based on JavaScript, this is both powerful, fun and easy to use * **Tasker integration**: Lightning acts as a Tasker plugin. LL actions can be added to Tasker tasks, and it is also possible to trigger tasks from within Lightning Launcher * **Integrated app killer**: "kill app" is integrated in the LL item menu, no need for an external task killer. * **Ability to use one wallpaper per desktop**: LLX supports setting one image per desktop, in addition to the system wallpaper.
