Snapping

Default: Center

This option controls how items snap in free mode. Snapping is used to align items in free mode, since in that case there is no grid to nicely align icons.

While moving an icon, Lightning Launcher will draw a line (vertically and horizontally) when it detects another item near the snapping point, and the item you move will be «attracted» a bit to help in positioning it. To prevent from excessive snapping, snapping occurs only with visible items.

You can choose one of these values:

• No snapping at all
• Snap when the center of the item is near the center of another item
• Snap edges instead of the center
• Snap edges and center. Be aware that this option can create a lof of snapping points: this may render difficult the placement of items, depending on the density of items on the desktop.
